While going through this cancer journey, my wonderful friend visited from South Africa to support me in this season. She gave me this beautiful little hanging ornament, with these words on…..

I have it hanging up in my kitchen window, and it’s a great reminder to me everyday.

It all begins with HOPE. We need to cherish hope!

Let’s take a look at Hebrews 10 verse 23 AMPC …..

“So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.”

This is what you and I need to do ….

  • Seize hope
  • Hold fast to hope
  • Retain without wavering the hope we cherish
  • Acknowledge your hope in God

This is what His character is towards you and me when we seize hope ..

  • His promises are reliable and sure
  • He is faithful to His word

I grab hold of hope because I know He is reliable and faithful.

Hope is commonly used to mean a wish. It’s strength is the strength of the person’s desire. But in the Bible hope is the confident expectation of what God has promised and it’s strength is in His faithfulness.

So I am confident that what God has promised regarding my life, He is faithful to do!

Isaiah 26 verse 4 …..

“So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages].”

Now faith comes in….

“Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.”

Hebrews 11:1 TPT

Faith is your confidence for what you hoping for. Faith is your assurance, it’s a fact that your trust is in God.

This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.

  • Faith opened Noah’s heart to receive revelation and warnings from God about what was about to come … he stepped out in obedience
  • Faith motivated Abraham to obey God’s call and leave the familiar to discover the territory destined to inherit from God
  • Sarah’s faith embraced God’s miracle power to conceive even though she was barren and past the age of childbearing

These great heroes and many more all died still clinging to their faith. They knew it is impossible to please God without faith. Their hearts were fixed on what was far greater.

Faith enables us to choose God’s will, this is when we see the MIRACULOUS.

Let’s be a generation that prefers faith’s certainty above the momentary enjoyment of sin’s pleasures.

Let faith stir up inside of you, persist in faith!

Let this be said of you and I……

Through faith’s power they conquered kingdoms and established true justice. Their faith fastened onto their promises and pulled them into reality! It was faith that shut the mouth of lions.”

Hebrews 11:33 TPT

Let our faith fasten onto the promises we have received from God and pull them into reality.

Be blessed today.

Vision and wisdom …. two things we should earnestly crave .

Vision is described as “an experience in which you see things that do not exist physically”.

Wisdom is described as “the quality of having experience, knowledge and good judgement, the quality of being wise”.

The song writer sings …..

“Give us vision to see things like You do,

Give us wisdom to know just what to do”

In both the description of vision and wisdom we see the word ‘experience’.

When we ‘experience’ something, we gain knowledge or skill that is obtained from doing, seeing, or feeling things, or something that happens that has an effect on us.

When we ‘experience’ something, it’s very easy to let vision and wisdom disappear.

How we see things effects how we live our lives and the decisions we make.

Let’s read what David said in Psalms …

Open my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Your law.”

Psalm 119:18 AMPC

When our eyes are opened to His word, we begin to see things like He does.

In the physical it may not look that good, but when we have the vision to see things like He does, faith starts to rise up on the inside of us.

Our language changes, and this is what we start to say …….

“I know that You can do all things, And that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained.”

Job 42:2

This is absolute faith in God ….

When things are hard we immediately want to know why. God sees the much bigger picture, nothing and no ‘experience’ is ever wasted with God.

God is charting a new course for our lives, He is busy creating something original, something of eternal significance.

When we begin to see things like He does, we then need the wisdom to know what to do.

“The ways of wisdom are sweet, always drawing you into the place of wholeness.”

Proverbs 3:17 TPT

Wisdom brings you to a place of wholeness and peace.

When you don’t know what to do, true wisdom is turning to God.

“When people turn to You, they discover how easy You are to please—so faithful and true! Joyfully You teach them the proper path, even when they go astray. Keep showing the humble Your path, and lead them into the best decision. Bring revelation-light that trains them in the truth.”

Psalms 25:8‭-‬9 TPT

He teaches you the proper path, a path that leads you into the best decisions and brings you revelation light.

Let your prayer today be, Lord in this ‘experience’ how ever hard it is, even though I don’t understand why. Give me the vision to see things like You do. Then I pray that You would give me wisdom to know just what to do regarding this ‘experience’.

Be encouraged today

We were privileged enough to have a wonderful holiday in Scotland. On one of our day trips out, we came across Trump Turnberry. It’s a luxury Resort in Scotland. It has long been an iconic landmark on the beautiful Ayrshire coastline. It was named Number 16 in top golf courses in the world. Absolute extravagance down to the very last detail.

I was thinking about all this wealth and extravagance and thought do we really grasp how extravagant is our Heavenly Father.

Philippians 4 verse 19 speaks about supply….

“And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”.

According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Supply” is, ‘pleroo’ which means, “To make full, to fill up, to fill to the full, to cause to abound, to furnish or supply liberally.”

I love the way the verse begins…. “And my God..” This is the Creator of the universe, this All-powerful and All-knowing God is my God, the One whom I serve. He will supply all my needs.

Whatever you need and where there is lack, He wants to supply liberally to you.

God will cause you to abound in both spiritual and natural things.

You are valued by God …..

“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

Matthew 6:26 NKJV

Hunger is a feeling of discomfort or weakness caused by lack.

Today, you maybe feeling discomfort or feeling weak because of an area of lack in your life.

There is an absence of peace, a shortage in joy, you feeling inadequate, could be a shortness in your finances, you may feel like you in a drought in your walk with God. You not walking in complete health, it feels as if there is a famine in this area.

Matthew says “Your Heavenly Father feeds them..” He feeds every ‘hunger’ you maybe battling with at this time. You are of extreme value to Him.

He is mindful of you …. You are on His mind and His thoughts are towards you.

“What is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that You care for him? Yet You have made him but a little lower than God [or heavenly beings], and You have crowned him with glory and honor.”

Psalm 8:4‭-‬5 AMPC

He cares for you!

He wants to bless you today with all you may need.

I love Matthew 7 verse 11, read with me …

“If you, imperfect as you are, know how to lovingly take care of your children and give them what’s best, how much more ready is your Heavenly to give wonderful gifts to those who ask Him?

If Joshua or Carlin, our children, ask me for something, if I know it will be good for them and it will bless them, I will go out of my way to give it to them.

Where you experiencing lack, you need to ask God to step in. He is ready and waiting. He wants you living in peace, joy, confidence in who you are in Him, your financial needs met, an intimate relationship with Him and enjoying His gift of healing.

Can you with all honesty say, “My God can handle this”.

You need to stand in renewed amazement, this is you being amazed by Almighty God over and over and over and over again! Amazed at His sufficiency to handle your every need.

We serve an extravagant Father.

Be blessed today.

I love this story my beautiful cousin told me. Her and her husband had designed her wedding ring and it was extremely special to her. One day they were sitting in a church service, and the preacher was speaking about offering up anything that was precious to you, and how God must be first in your lives. As she was sitting there, she felt she had to put her wedding rings in the offering basket that morning. She told her husband, and they walked up together and she placed these precious rings, a symbol of their love to each other in the offering basket. Sometime passed and her husband took her out for a meal, at the table that night he gave her a little box and in that box was her wedding rings! Without her knowledge, he had gone the next day into church and bought back her wedding rings and had them cleaned, shone and then presented her with them once again.

This made me think of Abraham and Isaac in Genesis 22.

Look what God said to Abraham….

“Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.
Genesis 22:2 NLT

What or who do we love so much that God is asking us to lay down and then place Him first?

Abraham didn’t know what the end result would be, but he was reckless enough to STEP OUT IN FAITH.

Abraham rose early the next day and was obedient to what God had said.

Verse 3 says “set out for the place God had told him about”.

He went to the place God told him to go to. We can only imagine the pain in the offering for Abraham that day.

That husband or wife, or your child, or ministry and gifting, your job, it could be a health issue or financial crises and you finding it so hard to hand it over. You experiencing real pain in the offering.

As God was with Abraham every step of that journey, so He will be with you. That journey took 3 days and then Abraham saw the place God told him about in the distance. Can you only imagine the pain he must have been experiencing each step of the way.

We know Abraham went on and placed his son whom he dearly loved on the altar.

Then this happened ….

“And Abraham picked up the knife to kill his son as a sacrifice. At that moment the angel of the Lord called to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Yes,” Abraham replied. “Here I am!” “Don’t lay a hand on the boy!” the angel said. “Do not hurt him in any way, for now I know that you truly fear God. You have not withheld from Me even your son, your only son.”

Genesis 22:10‭-‬12 NLT

You have not withheld from Me even your son, your only son”.

Can God say that of you and me? You have not witheld from Me your husband, your wife, your child, your ministry, your job, your health issue, your financial crises.

Are you prepared to surrender all, hand everything over to God?

We know that Abraham took his son off the altar, and when he looked up there was a ram to use as an offering in the place of his son. God provided that day.

How wonderful to know, He will never not provide, when you offer up all to Him. Many a time it’s a heart response God is looking for. A total surrender to Him.

Laying your life down in tender surrender before the Lord will bring life, prosperity, and honor as your reward”.
Proverbs 22:4 TPT

If you looking for life, prosperity and honor, you need to lay your life down in total surrender to Him.

I love what happened next …… After obedience comes blessings.

“This is what the Lord says: Because you have obeyed Me and have not withheld even your son, your only son, I swear by My own name that I will certainly bless you. I will multiply your descendants beyond number, like the stars in the sky and the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will conquer the cities of their enemies. And through your descendants all the nations of the earth will be blessed—all because you have obeyed Me.”

Genesis 22:16‭-‬18 NLT

“Because you have obeyed Me” …….

  • I will certainly bless you
  • I will multiply your descendants
  • Your descendants will conquer

Blessing, multiplication and victory! All because you obeyed.

We make it so hard by trying too hard. Instead of just offering our ALL to Him, we try work it all out. I’m sure you are like me and you want blessing, multiplication in all areas of your life and you wanting to be victorious. The answer is obedience and offering.

Be reckless enough to STEP OUT IN FAITH.

Who remembers the movie “Pollyanna”. I remember as a child watching this movie many a time. The one part in the movie has always stuck out to me, ‘THE GLAD GAME’. Pollyanna is an orphan and goes to live with her aunt, here she is introduced to a range of extremely disheartened people. She goes about the town spreading hope and good cheer. She teaches them the “GLAD GAME”, she encourages everyone to try and find something to be glad about in regards to anything and everything. She continues to spread her happiness in the community and wins everyone over.

We as people can become so disheartened with life. Things get difficult and often our plans are not panning out the way we hoped or intended them to.

The bible tells us what to do with the spirit of heaviness, we to put on the garment of praise!

You know as you start to praise, you begin to recall all the blessings of God over your life.

God Himself will fill you with more. Blessings upon blessings will be heaped upon you and upon your children from the Maker of heaven and earth, the very God who made you!”
Psalms 115:14‭-‬15 TPT

God Himself fills you with more! This is not just financial blessing, but blessings which have far more effect and influence in our lives.

How about more peace, more joy, more grace, more health, more favor, more kindness, more mercy, more strength, more provision, more in ALL areas.

Not just more for you, but more for your children as well. Your descendants being blessed with MORE from the Maker of heaven and earth.

He pours out blessings in every season. I remember going for chemotherapy treatment and radiotherapy at the hospital, in a not so nice season He remained constant and He kept pouring out His blessings. Family members and friends blessed me by taking me to every treatment and we got a good parking spot each time. I have too many to mention, but I can truthfully say we experienced His blessings over and over again in this season. We are extremely grateful to God for them all.

What about blessings we don’t even see. How He steps in and protects us. Look at this amazing blessing we receive from God in Psalms…

“Lord, You are a paradise of protection to me. You lift me high above the fray. None of my foes can touch me when I’m held firmly in Your wrap-around presence!
Psalms 61:3 TPT

You know for me the greatest blessing is spending time with God, it’s here where I’m super blessed.

I love Psalms 21 verse 3 in the Passion translation….

Rich blessings overflow with every encounter with You, and You placed a royal crown of gold upon his head”.

Wow …

Rich blessings overflow with every encounter with You”

Not just blessings, but rich blessings and they overflow with every encounter with God.

The meaning of this ‘encounter’ is to meet face to face. This is time you and I set aside to meet with God. Putting down the things that distract us snd tuning into Him. Making it all about Him! Lord I’m not going to leave until I have met with You. Desperate for this time alone with Almighty God, this is when you enjoy rich blessings overflowing.

I really want to encourage you today to live out the ‘glad game’ or we could call it the ‘blessing jar’. Despite circumstances that surround you today, choose to recall your blessings.

Remember the old hymn ……

When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done’.

Have a super blessed day today.

I remember many years ago battling with fear. Deon my husband and I were not married very long and I started having anxious thoughts about something happening to him. If he would come home five or ten minutes later, I would start to imagine the worst. The horrible thing about fear is as you open up a small bit to fear, it gets bigger and bigger. Before you know it, you fearful for nearly everything. Fear starts to take control over your life, it becomes a bondage which needs to be broken. As children of God, we know the only person to have any control over our lives needs to be Jesus.

I remember being this young wife and standing in our brand new little home and making a choice that enough was enough! I knew if I didn’t want to go around this ‘mountain’ again and again, I had to do something about it quickly!

As a child of God, I knew my answers were in God’s word. This was one of the very first scriptures I memorised in that season…..

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”.

Philippians 4 verse 6 and 7

The very first instruction is to ‘BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING’. It’s quite straightforward and doesn’t give us any leeway to be anxious. We are not to worry, fret, or be pulled in different directions to God’s word.

How wonderful is Our Heavenly Father, He knew there would be circumstances and situations that would cause us alarm. That’s why He said, “IN EVERYTHING”, this is what you need to do..

When we in a fearful situation, we need to saturate ourselves in prayer. Offering up faith filled requests before God, with overflowing gratitude.

Let praise shape your worries into prayer.

You know your worries and fears are so real, and God is waiting for you to tell Him every detail of your life. He doesn’t want you carrying this burden, He wants to know everything that concerns you.

Stand up to fear and say enough is enough! God is wanting you enjoying life and not being riddled with fear.

Look what happens when you obey God in this area ....

I know this peace, I have experienced this GOD PEACE. This peace which surpasses my understanding, it’s superior to my understanding, it exceeds and transcends my understanding. When the doctor said the word cancer, I knew my ‘understanding’ that day needed to change. His peace was, and is more powerful than cancer.

My human ‘understanding’ wanted to go down the road of fear and worry. I had to change the course by shaping my worries to prayer by praising! I began to shout out faith filled requests to God.

Then God’s peace stood guard over my heart and mind. This is the best road to go down, this is when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

He doesn’t leave it there, He continues to tell us what to meditate and think on in verse 8 …..

  • Whatever things are TRUE
  • Whatever things are NOBLE
  • Whatever things are JUST
  • Whatever things are PURE
  • Whatever things are LOVELY
  • Whatever things are OF A GOOD REPORT
  • Whatever things are OF ANY VIRTUE OR PRAISEWORTHY

I use this in my mind as a checklist, when the enemy comes in with fear I go down my checklist. Is this fear true, worthy of respect, right or confirmed by God’s word, is it pure or wholesome, is it lovely and does it bring me peace, is it of a good repute, or worthy of praise?

I need to center my thinking and implant in my heart that what pleases my Heavenly Father, and fear definitely does not please Him.

Be encouraged today in God.

When Deon my husband, and I walked out of the Consultant’s room that very first time we were in absolute shock. Two weeks later, we were due to return for the results from the biopsies. Without the other one knowing, we had both prayed and waited on God that He would strengthen and prepare us for that consultation. I remember Deon saying afterwards to me, he didn’t want to not be prepared or surprised by the results we got that day. He got a word from God on the Sunday afternoon before the consultation that it was cancer and he got the words ‘going through’. I got the words ‘cancer, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, I will get you through this’. When we sat in that room that day and the Consultant confirmed all the above, we were not shocked. Deon said he looked at me and a boldness came up on the inside of me, I wasn’t timid as I would have been in the past. I sat up, and with absolute confidence and belief I said to the Consultant and breast care nurse, “I serve God and I know God will be with me and get me through this time”. You know, that empowerment and confidence that we as a couple walked in that day, was not in our own strength, it came from waiting on God and our hearts being fixed on Him.

Psalm 112 verse 7 speaks about being confident in the Lord ……

“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings, his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord“.

We don’t need to live our lives in fear or dread of what may come and we don’t need to fear bad news! We stand secure in our faith, our hearts are firm and we put our trust in God.

The one meaning of empower is to make someone stronger and more confident.

When we think and speak out about our future’s, God wants us strong and confident. He does not want us timid and fearful, feelings of uncertainty and despair.

In the natural my body was not well, I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer that had spread to the lymph nodes. Deon and I made the choice that day to trust God, He was our strength. We knew we had to step up that day to another level.

“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever”.
Psalm 73:26 AMPC

You can walk today and know, wherever you find yourself, God will guide you. HIS STRENGTH WILL EMPOWER YOU.

Deon and I didn’t go that day to see the Consultant in our own strength, we knew then and we know now we wouldn’t be able to get through this season without God’s strength. We continue day by day, making the choice to walk not in our own strength, but in our Heavenly Father.

“Wherever I go, your hand will guide me; your strength will empower me”.
Psalms 139:10 TPT

Deon and I have found in our lives if we wanting this empowerment, strength and confidence, we need to spend time in His presence.

“Your anointing has made me strong and mighty. You’ve empowered my life for triumph by pouring fresh oil over me”.
Psalms 92:10 TPT

I know I’m desperate for God, it’s His anointing that makes me strong.

In His presence worshipping is where I’m empowered.

In His word is where I’m empowered.

In times of prayer and intercession is where I’m empowered.

It’s God who makes us stand firmly, and He sets us securely.

“He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]; He sets me securely upon my high places”.
Psalm 18:33 AMPC

Be encouraged today and be empowered by our Awesome God.

29 July 2019

Deon my husband, and I have been blessed with two amazing miracles, our children Joshua and Carlin. We were told by doctors we wouldn’t be able to have children and God blessed us with two miracles. We love our children deeply and would do anything for them. They are nearly 21 and 19 years old, and I still find myself looking at them with such joy and pleasure. We extremely proud of them! There are times as parents, we don’t like their actions or an attitude they might have, but it doesn’t stop us from loving them deeply.

This reminded me, of the great love our Heavenly Father has for you and me. There is no greater love than the love of God. He gave up His only Son to die, so that we could have forgiveness of sin.

He desperately loves us the sinner, but He despises the sin. In Him there is no unclean thing.

He desires us, to live holy lives before Him. He knows we going to mess up, but His plans are for us to have a relationship with Him. Then we can know Him and do what pleases Him.

It breaks my heart to say, but we have become a generation that allows sin to be so acceptable. In the past generations, they would not have tolerated the things we allow today.

Let’s look at Psalms 103 together …..

David in this Psalm is praising the Lord for His mercies. He thanks God for His forgiveness in spite of all the wrong he has done in his life.

Look what he says in verse 8 …….

“Lord, You’re so kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and so patient with people who fail You! Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness.
Psalms 103:8 TPT

David describes God as kind, tenderhearted, patient and loving. In our lives today, we experience such great mercy on a day to day basis. His mercies are new every morning. We don’t deserve it, but we receive it daily.

Today’s blog has not been the easiest of blogs to write. We as people, are so all about grace. Don’t get me wrong, I am so extremely grateful to God for His grace, I need it in my life everyday. I just feel God is causing a shift and we need to understand that there needs to be a balance. We cannot overlook the sin in our lives.

Let’s read Romans 2 verse 4 ……

Do the riches of His extraordinary kindness make you take Him for granted and despise Him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding He has been to you? Don’t mistake His tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of His extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance?”
Romans 2:4 TPT

Don’t mistake His tolerance for acceptance”.

Wow! That’s a tough one! The amplified version says, “Or do you have no regard for the wealth of His kindness and tolerance and patience [in withholding His wrath]?”

I remember when Joshua and Carlin were little and would be disobedient, we as their parents would need patience and understanding. Basically we would tolerate it because they were our children, but we didn’t just accept it. We would discipline them as they needed boundaries.

Have we taken His extravagant kindness for granted, and mistaken His tolerance for acceptance in regard to the sin in our lives.

God’s kindness is intended to lead us to REPENTANCE, then to change our mind and inner man to accept God’s will for our lives.

We need to ask God to break our hardened hearts to what breaks His heart. Let us desire to please Him above all else in our lives.

“And I will give them one heart [a new heart] and I will put a new spirit within them; and I will take the stony [unnaturally hardened] heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh [sensitive and responsive to the touch of their God]”
Ezekiel 11:19 AMPC

Lord take away our hard and stubborn heart, give us a tender, sensitive and responsive heart towards You.

The other day I was thinking how absolutely privileged we are as children of the Most High God. We have the Holy Spirit, that small voice inside of us. When we don’t feel 100% peace about something, we can act on it. This is God’s way of protecting us from harm and heartache in the future.

Today’s blog you may find a bit hard, but if you and I are wanting to see God move in us and through us, we going to need to make some changes in our lives. We need to repent, this is an absolute surrender to God. We make a 180 degree turn to God. When I write these blogs I am speaking to myself and a lot of the times it’s areas where God is dealing with me.

Be encouraged today.

How nice is it to be around a person who is reassuring, inspiring, uplifting, comforting, affirmative and understanding. Someone with the gift of encouragement.

Deon my husband, and I were outside chatting and feeling a bit downhearted with everything. We noticed a couple walking down our road who live not too far from our home. We have never chatted with them before, we have just greeted them when they drive past. If I’m honest we were not really in the mood to chat, but we greeted them as they walked past and we had a lovely chat. The husband said he just wanted us to know how much he loved the quotes I leave on my board. (I have a little black board at our front door and I write little quotes on the board). He said about 3 years ago he had a nervous breakdown and was in a terrible state. Before he stopped working he would drive past our home and slow down to read the board. He said he would say these little quotes over and over again through the day, as he found such comfort in doing this. Deon and myself were able to encourage them that day with my testimony but you know, both Deon and I walked away that day extremely encouraged by this couple. A business man we didn’t know and he took the time out to share his story with us. He kept saying how grateful he was for my little black board.

Jesus is the greatest Encourager.

“Now may the Lord Jesus Christ and our Father God, who loved us and in His wonderful grace gave us eternal comfort and a beautiful hope that cannot fail, encourage your hearts and inspire you with strength to always do and speak what is good and beautiful in His eyes” .
2 Thessalonians 2:16‭-‬17 TPT

He is wanting to give you hope today. Your situation may seem hopeless but God is the God of Hope. Imagine being a runner in a race, your family, friends and supporters are standing there cheering you on. This is exactly what our Heavenly Father is doing for you today, He is shouting out words of affirmation to you. He wants each one of us to finish the race.

He is pouring out His love to you today. You are greatly loved by God. He is giving you everlasting comfort and encouragement and well-founded hope.

He is the God who gives you everlasting consolation and strength.

You can do it! Remember nothing is impossible with our God!

God’s word encourages us ….

“My life’s strength melts away with grief and sadness; come strengthen me and encourage me with Your words”.
Psalms 119:28 TPT

How amazing is this!

For the Scriptures encourage us with these words: “Everyone who believes in Him will never be disappointed.
Romans 10:11 TPT

Our Wonderful Father always knows how to encourage us …

“But God, who always knows how to encourage the depressed, encouraged us greatly by the arrival of Titus”.
2 Corinthians 7:6 TPT

Have you ever thought how your actions and words could be an encouragement to someone.

When you encourage, you called wise …

Every wise woman encourages and builds up her family, but a foolish woman over time will tear it down by her own actions”.
Proverbs 14:1 TPT

Why not go out of your way today to encourage someone …

So encourage one another with these truths”.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 TPT

This is how you do it ……

“Are there any believers in your fellowship suffering great hardship and distress? Encourage them to pray! Are there happy, cheerful ones among you? Encourage them to sing out their praises!”
James 5:13 TPT

As we are encouraged by God, let us make it our top priority to be people who encourage and are reassuring, inspiring, uplifting, comforting, affirmative and understanding.

“So then, make it your top priority to live a life of peace with harmony in your relationships, eagerly seeking to strengthen and encourage one another.
Romans 14:19 TPT

I can assure you today, as you encourage others, you will be satisfied.

“Sharing words of wisdom is satisfying to your inner being. It encourages you to know that you’ve changed someone else’s life”.
Proverbs 18:20 TPT

Be encouraged today in God.

Morning from our little home in Howden in the UK😄

When Deon my husband, left this morning at 5am I decided to drink my tea outside, as it’s another beautiful warm day. I’m sitting here listening to the birds chirping and everything is so peaceful.

I was reading this portion in Ephesians ….

“that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Ephesians 3:16‭-‬19 NKJV

Wherever you find yourself today, whether you on a mountain top experience or in a valley, this is my prayer for you for today.
